Three finalists will be selected from around the nation to compete in the finals in Los Angeles on June 28, where they will prepare their Dole dish in front of onlookers at Santa Monica Place and a panel of judges led by celebrity chef Ben Ford of Ford’s Filling Station in Culver City, Calif. for a chance to win $25,000. The culinary team at Dole and Chef Ben Ford will be looking for the top recipes that demonstrate the best use of DOLE Packaged Foods products, creativity, flavor, taste, ease of preparation and presentation.

The 2014 DOLE California Cook-Off contest will close on May 19, 2014. Submit at least one appetizer, small plate or healthy-portion-sized dish that can be prepared in 60 minutes or less on a gas grill using at least one DOLE packaged product and no more than ten additional ingredients.
