IDDBA Gets New Marketing VP

Whitney Atkins has held positions at Kroger Delta Marketing and the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department

The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) has appointed a new VP of marketing. 

Starting Nov. 27, Kroger Delta Marketing alum and former San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department communication manager Whitney Atkins will lead the marketing team and work to drive member engagement.

“I look forward to joining the IDDBA team, serving our industry and providing resources to our membership that enable them to serve their customers and successfully grow,” Atkins said.

Atkins has more than 20 years of experience and oversaw all content creation for various platforms and worked on approaches and strategies in her previous role. She spent the majority of her career at Kroger Delta Marketing in Memphis, Tenn., where she held positions such as assistant advertising and marketing manager, loyalty analyst and customer communications marketing specialist. 

At Kroger Delta, Atkins acted as a liaison across multiple team to develop and communicate selling initiatives and programs for more than 100 grocery, pharmacy and fuel locations
