With 26 years of experience at Procter & Gamble (P&G) in brand management and innovation, Virginie Helias is a force in driving environmental sustainability in the grocery business from something nice to have to a strategic imperative for brand and retail leaders. In the past three years, she has taken on increasing responsibilities for P&G’s sustainability, ranging from leading sustainability innovation for fabric care (P&G’s biggest footprint category), as well as designing and commercializing Ariel Excel Gel, one of the company’s sustainability innovation hallmarks. Her vast experience across multiple categories and global to local brand management expertise has been crucial in the framework for P&G’s broad-reaching “Ambition 2030” agenda, which aims to enable and inspire positive impact on the environment and society while creating value for consumers. Helias has also been integral in the Closed Loop Home for P&G’s flagship brands such as Tide, Pampers and Olay Regenerist Whip moisturizer.
