As consumers show concern for stockouts of baby formula, Abbott has entered into a consent decree with the FDA on the necessary steps to resume production and maintain its Michigan plant that shut down earlier this year.

"This is the 14th straight month that we’ve seen wholesale prices push above the historical trend line, and the CPG industry ... is exceptionally frustrated," the CEO of the Consumer Brands Association says.
