Ahold Delhaize proposes to reappoint Peter Agnefjäll as chair of the supervisory board

Sprouts Farmers Market hires Alisa Gmelich as CMO

Gmelich comes to the 380-unit grocer after a long career in restaurant marketing.

The discounter, which saw many executives depart recently, on Thursday named Jennifer Bohaty chief compliance officer, Terence Goods chief diversity officer, Jennifer Silberman chief sustainability officer and Kristin Tetreault chief communications officer.

Rizzo assumes the position following the retirement of Ron Bonacci, who will depart at the end of the year.

Company President RJ Sheedy will take the helm on Jan. 1, the fast-growing West Coast discounter said Tuesday.

John Richard and Ryan Cagney will work on policy and political affairs for the NGA; and Eric Payne has been promoted on the communications team.
