Braga Fresh Family Farms Launches Josie’s Organics Website

Josies_RecipesBraga Fresh Family Farms recently launched a website for its premium Josie’s Organics brand of USDA certified organic vegetables at: www.josiesorganics.com. Full of quick and unique recipes, nutritional facts and product tips, kids’ activities, stories and photos of Josie Braga’s family and their nearly 90 years of farming history, where to buy, and more, the site is another way Josie’s Organics strives to help today’s busy consumers incorporate organic produce into their lives. It is available on a computer or mobile device. Developed by Moxxy Marketing, the signature Josie’s Organics blue polka dots are featured throughout the site, creating a vibrant backdrop framing beautiful product, recipe, farm and family photos. The news section of the site contains announcements, plus blog posts with additional recipes and healthy lifestyle tips. Moxxy tapped food and lifestyle expert Chadwick Boyd to create ten new recipes inspired by president and farmer Rod Braga’s grandmother, “Nonnie” Josie, for whom the brand is named. Boyd relied on stories of favorite Braga family meals to develop recipes with a nostalgic feel that give everyday cooks fresh, contemporary ideas to prepare simple organic vegetable dishes in creative ways. “For more than two decades I’ve worked with celebrity chefs and premium retailers, but helping families eat healthy foods is the most rewarding work of all,” says Boyd. “The Braga family story—based on three generations of sustainable farming with Nonnie Josie at the heart of the home, keeping everyone well fed and putting wholesome fresh vegetables on the table—excites me to share these modern recipes inspired by her spirit.” Each recipe includes a per-serving nutritional analysis of important vitamins and nutrients. The recipe section of the site also helps visitors find exactly what they’re looking for with key-word search, a browse-by-vegetable option and the ability to browse by categories, such as: quick, easy, gluten-free, kid-friendly, salads, soups, main dishes and more. Visitors can also share a recipe via email or social media with friends in just a couple of clicks and submit their own recipes for Josie’s to share with others in future blog and social media posts. Rod Braga said, “Times have changed since Nonnie Josie prepared our meals, but families still need wholesome, fresh food and time together. With recipes, meal ideas, nutrition information, and preparation tips, the goal of the Josie’s Organics website is to make planning and preparing healthy meals easier.” Visitors to www.josiesorganics.com will also find new ways to connect—through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. Connecting with Josie’s provides ongoing recipe ideas, healthy eating tips and nutrition information, as well as entertaining photos and links to blog posts.
