Niman Ranch has partnered with meat delivery company ButcherBox to create a new digital storefront.
The platform will allow Niman Ranch customers to purchase its products online through ButcherBox.
Two $99 variety boxes are available, with the option to add additional items at checkout, such as bacon and charcuterie. They are the Lunch & Dinner box, which includes sausages such as Apple Gouda, Bratwurst and kids hot dogs, ground pork and pulled pork, spare ribs and a whole pork tenderloin; and the BBQ box, which includes baby back ribs, ground pork, Italian sausage, hot dogs, kids hot dogs and pulled pork.
More options are slated for the future based on seasonal changes and upcoming holidays.
Currently, ButcherBox offers 9- to 14-pounds boxes of meat for $149 and 18- t0 26-pound boxes for $270.
Chris Oliviero, general manager of Northglenn, Colo.-based Niman Ranch, said that with certain parts of the country not having access to Niman Ranch partner stores, and all markets not having all items available, “the option to order online creates national access to all consumers, everywhere.”
Niman Ranch features hardwood-smoked meat that boasts no hormones or antibiotics ever and comes from livestock that are raised outdoors and fed a 100% vegetarian diet.

Mike Salguero, founder and CEO of ButcherBox, praised Niman Ranch for its “long-held commitment to raising their animals with the utmost care, something ButcherBox is deeply committed to as well.”
“We’re proud to be a key partner and support Niman Ranch’s family farmers as they embark on this new direct-to-consumer offering to bring their products to even more homes throughout the country,” he said.
To promote the new partnership, Niman Ranch will host an Instagram and Facebook contest in which three randomly selected participants will be chosen to win one of the available boxes.
