What’s the best part of your job?

While the primary objective of my role is to build and to execute the financial growth strategy of our company, my favorite part of the job is positively impacting our people. Nothing brings me more feeling of accomplishment than assisting in the development of the members of our entire organization. I strive to be hyper-vigilant, facilitating everyone on the team not only to win but also to accomplish their individual corporate and personal objectives for growth. Numbers matter but cannot be achieved without the integral group of people involved.

What inspires your leadership approach?

I follow the principles of servant leadership with a strong emphasis on developing the team. This approach has been, and continues to be, inspired by my strong mentors and industry peers. I have been blessed to have some very wonderful bosses over the course of my career (and some that were not as wonderful). These mentors have demonstrated empathetic motivation and empowering confidence in my overall development. These have always been my best assignments. I endeavor to utilize all these positive elements that I have been shown and apply them to my overall approach to developing our people.

What do you cherish most about being a part of the industry?

Hands down the camaraderie with all of my retail partners, trade association friends and the incredible group of industry peers. The industry provides a platform for connection, mentorship and continuous learning and development. I am fortunate to have had all the tremendous exposure to this awesome group of individuals at this point in my career. I look forward to the many years of interaction to come and to the celebration of peer accomplishment that will be part of our journey together.
