What’s the best part of your job?
The spirit of collaboration and shared mission and goals all revolving around helping our members grow sales and be competitive in their marketplace. My bosses listen to me and are open to my ideas, and I have a great team who makes those ideas come to life.
What inspires your leadership approach?
My passion for the success of our member retailers; purpose; listening and learning from my team; and creating a culture of trust. I genuinely care for the success and work very hard to help develop and grow people on my team.
What do you cherish most about being a part of the industry?
The grocery competition for local and small chain grocers and stores has never been greater. So to help our independent grocery stores thrive, I feel that I am constantly learning and being challenged so I can stay on top of trends, innovation, competitive activity and the evolving needs of their customers.
