What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Working with many unique companies, exceptional people and living the foodie life. Traveling to many different locations is one of the things that I enjoy, and I have been lucky enough to combine the love of travel with the passion of creating and working in the food industry.
What inspires your leadership approach?
Consideration for people, passion for the business, never taking the business for granted, and do not forget the humor. To me being a leader is like being a teacher; it is your job to help others to learn and grow. Every customer should feel like they are No. 1 no matter how long they have been your customer.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
The continuous learning as nothing ever stays the same. Our business offers constant challenges and changes that will allow you to grow, to think outside the box and never be bored.
Favorite food: Depends upon the day. My comfort food is the German noodle dish that my Grandmother made.
