The most rewarding aspect of my job is coaching and mentoring leaders. I am fortunate to work with remarkably talented and creative people daily. Seeing them become successful leaders and being exceptional in their roles is rewarding.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a part of Van’s Kitchen is providing high-quality egg rolls that families can share and that bring people together at the dinner table. Another is providing opportunities to our “roll models” (employees) so they can conquer challenges and fulfill their dreams. At Van’s Kitchen, we believe there is room at the table for everyone, no matter your gender, nationality, age or class. I wouldn’t be able to do my job without each and every roll model’s collaborative work and support, and I truly appreciate everything they do.

It is rewarding to me to provide solutions to our customers that help them grow and succeed.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping foster the growth of our team across multiple business channels, which in turn grows our business and the category on a global scale.  Through this process, it in turn helps me develop as a more effective leader for our company.

People. The friendships, adventures and collaboration I have experienced over the years is what drives my passion. The grocery industry is full of unique people with a variety of backgrounds—yet a familiar drive for hard work and good times.

Developing new, innovative concepts for our customers.

The 2021 IDDBA Champions of Change honors champions in three categories: Store Department Directors/Managers, Emerging Champions and Legendary Champions.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is creating the baked goods that our customers want and will enjoy. I love seeing the smiles on their faces, talking to them and listening to their stories.

Bringing back the pride, skills and craft of the craftspeople I work with.

When I am training someone and they get excited about learning. There is so little of that anymore.
