Where do you see the dairy, deli and bakery industry headed? What is the future of the category?
The future of fresh departments is bright. Consumers are getting more and more curious about where their foods come from, how they are made, and the ethics throughout the process. I believe the deli will undergo a transformation in the coming years, following adjacent category trends in fresh seafood and meat, toward more sustainable supply that better meets shopper demands.
How would you define a Champion of Change?
A Champion of Change is someone driven by the wild idea that tomorrow should be better than today. A person who understands the reality of the world we live in yet refuses to accept the status quo.
