Foxtrot teams up with KeHE Distributors

The Chicago-based hybrid retailer said the partnership will help change how consumers perceive convenience stores and their offerings.

Foxtrot, a hybrid corner store, cafe and delivery market, is partnering with KeHE Distributors, the Naperville, Illinois-based wholesale food distributor announced on Tuesday.

"Partnering with KeHE is an exciting step for Foxtrot," said Mitch Madoff, head of supply chain for Foxtrot, in a statement. "KeHE's robust mix of innovative brands and customer favorites is helping us to rapidly expand our business and change how consumers perceive convenience stores. We're now able to offer an amazing variety of highly curated healthy, innovative products that our customers love with the consistency and dependability of KeHe."

Foxtrot, which now operates 28 stores in its current markets of Chicago, Washington, D.C., Dallas and Austin, Texas, is a new step for KeHE in the convenience-store channel, according to a press release from KeHE.

Foxtrot, which offers an all-day café experience, as well as grocery retail, has focused on growing its private-label assortment while also maintaining strong partnerships with local brands.

A Certified B Corporation, KeHE is owned by its more than 6,800 employees and distributes to over 30,000 natural food stores, independent and chain grocers, and e-commerce retailers.
