While certain snack brands tout their nut-free attributes for consumers with nut intolerances, other brands capitalize on leveraging their nut-based virtues.
Two recent options include Snickers Rockin’ Nut Road and NuttZo Chilled Nut & Seed Butter Bars.

Tattooed Chef expanded its portfolio and marked its debut in the refrigerated section, with Oat Butter Bars, including a peanut flavor. It’s noted to combine grab-and-go convenience with functional nutrition. Powered by oat butter, the bars deliver multiple adaptogens, including ashwagandha and Vitamin D3. Each Non-GMO Project Verified bar contains 12 to 14 grams of plant-based pea protein and no added sugars, soy or gluten. Four flavors include Chocolate Chip, Brownie, Peanut and Graham. Bars are available for an SRP range of $2.99 to $3.49.
Cibo Vita launched Ciba Vita Artisanal Roasted Nuts with a premium package design featuring a zipper-lock closure that hold 4 ounces of product. The Kosher-certified variety, available for an SRP of $6.99 per unit, features four flavor combinations: Nature’s Garden Nashville-Hot BBQ Almonds, Nature’s Garden Baja Taco Cashews, Nature’s Garden Ghost Pepper Ranch Almonds and Nature’s Garden Spicy Dill Cashews.
Planters Sweet & Spicy Peanuts from Hormel are dry-roasted with honey and dried red chile peppers and then seasoned with salt. The peanuts come in a 16-ounce bottle. All Planters brand peanuts contain more than 30 essential vitamins and minerals and are considered a reliable source of fiber and healthy fats with 7 grams of protein per serving, the company said.
NuttZo unveiled Chilled Nut & Seed Butter Bars, the latest addition to the brand’s family of better-for-you nut and seed butter products. The refrigerated bars are available in two flavors, Almond Butter Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate, containing 7 to 8 grams of protein, 4 grams of sugar and no artificial preservatives. Almond Butter Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chilled Nut & Seed Butter Bars are sold in 12-bar boxes and available for an SRP range of $2.59 to $2.79.
With a focus on taste and functional healthy benefits, NuTrail Birthday Cake Nut Granola joined the lineup of low-carb and low-sugar products from NuTrail. The new mix includes pecans, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, almonds, sugar-free sprinkles, whey protein and monk fruit sweetener. Keto-friendly, gluten- and grain-free with 3 grams of net carbs and zero grams of added sugar per serving, the product is available for an SRP of $12.78.
