8 Products for Today’s Health-Conscious Customer

Furthermore, 58% of consumers say they could be somewhat or a lot healthier.
CPG brands are listening, introducing a slew of new product innovations that emphasize healthier attributes such as zero sugar, superseeds, immune support, low calories and more. Here are eight products that fit the health and wellness bill.
Health-Ade Pop
Gut health beverage brand Health-Ade, best known for their flagship kombucha, has launched a modernized version of their prebiotic soda line, Health-Ade Pop, formerly known as Health-Ade Booch Pop. The “better-for-you” soda, which is flavored with organic ingredients and cold-pressed juice, features fresh packaging and new flavors and formulations, including Pomegranate Berry, Lemon Lime, Ginger Fizz, Strawberry Vanilla, Apple Snap and Juicy Grape. Health-Ade Pop has an SRP of $2.99.
Cauliflower Potato Chips
Real Food From the Ground Up has launched Cauliflower Potato Chips in Sea Salt, Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Buffalo flavors. Real veggies top the company’s ingredient list, which never include artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. All products are also vegan, gluten-free and Non-GMO Project verified. Cauliflower Potato Chips have an SRP of $3.99 per 3.5-ounce bag.
Uncle Matt’s Ultimate Shots
Uncle Matt’s Organic has launched an Ultimate Shots line aimed at aiding immune support, digestion and energy. The lineup includes Ultimate Defense, a blend of organic orange juice, pineapple, turmeric root, ginger, black pepper and live probiotics; Ultimate Immune, which contains organic orange juice, black elderberry and live probiotics; Ultimate Energy, which is flavored with orange juice and mango and contains 200 milligrams of caffeine from green tea and coffeeberry. The shots are now available online and will be rolling out to select retailers nationwide in the coming months.
Organic Plantain Crisps
Barnana, maker of banana-based snacks, has launched Organic Plantain Crisps, which are made with 100% coconut oil and organic green plantains sourced from smallholder farms in Ecuador. The snack will be available in Sea Salt and Garlic flavors and launch Aug. 27 online on National Banana Lovers’ Day. In mid-September, Organic Plantain Crisps will be available at retailers such as Whole Foods.
Chobani Zero Sugar
Chobani Zero Sugar yogurt contains zero sugar and has 60 calories and 11 grams of protein per 5.3-ounce serving. It is made from natural ingredients and comes in three flavors: Vanilla, Mixed Berry, Strawberry and Blueberry. Chobani Zero Sugar has an SRP of $1.49 for single-serve portions, $4.49 for four-packs and $5.49 for 32-ounce multiserve packs.
Good To Go Grain-Free Granola
Good To Go, producer of keto snack bars, has launched two flavors of Grain-Free Granola: Chocolate and Vanilla Coconut. The granolas are made with organic nuts and superseeds such as pumpkin, sunflower and cashews. The vegan, high-protein and low-carb breakfast food is available in a resealable package made from recyclable materials. Grain-Free Granola has an SRP of $7.99 per bag.
Bigelow Plus Vitamin C
Bigelow Teas has released two new teas formulated with vitamin C: Bigelow Green Tea with Elderberry Plus Vitamin C, a smooth green tea with a tart berry flavor and smoky finish; and Bigelow Lemon Echinacea Black Tea Plus Vitamin C, which features tart lemon and echinacea, a North American coneflower. The teas join I Love Lemon plus Vitamin C Herbal Tea in the lineup. The teas have an SRP of $3.19.
Nature’s Harvest Healthy Habits Bread
Bimbo Bakeries’ Nature’s Harvest brand has launched a new line of low-calorie bread: Healthy Habits, with just 40-45 calories per slice. The line includes the brand’s first keto-friendly variety, Healthy Habits White Made With Whole Grain, which contains 6 grams of carbs per slice. Each Healthy Habits offering is made from whole grains. The Natures Harvest line is available at grocery stores and major food retailers for an SRP of $3.99.
