Perdue Wants Kids to Enjoy Their Vegetables Too

Supplier says its new Chicken Plus is ideal for flexitarians and picky eaters

Perdue, one of the world's best-known brands when it comes to chicken, is running a new campaign in which the most discerning of taste testers–picky kids—try new food items.

The ad campaign kicked off this week for Perdue Chicken Plus, a new line of nuggets that boasts the added nutrition of one-quarter cup of vegetables and 10-11 grams of protein.

Perdue says the new product is ideal for families seeking a more flexitarian diet, blending cauliflower, chickpeas and plant protein with 100% all-natural ingredients and white meat chicken. The new line also aims to provide convenient mealtime solutions for parents of picky eaters, the company said.
