Wade Hanson

Since joining Technomic, Wade Hanson, Principal, has conducted and written numerous multi-sponsor and proprietary studies encompassing all foodservice segments. He has extensive expertise in market sizing, market trend evaluation and competitive assessments/benchmarking. During his years with the firm, he has had an active role with key clients in interpreting implications and developing targeted strategic plans.

Wade has 25 years of experience serving the needs of clients in a research and consulting capacity. Prior to joining Technomic in 2006, Wade served in several program management positions with Intellinex, a division of Ernst & Young. Before joining Ernst & Young, Wade spent over five years managing research operations for Kirk Tyson International (KTI), a leading market intelligence and strategic services firm in Lisle, Illinois.

Wade has been a leading presenter at a number of industry events and conferences, including the Foodservice Sales and Marketing Association (FSMA) Top 2 Top conference, the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show and the Winsight FARE conference. He has been cited by major media and trade publications such as Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s, and Bloomberg News, and also made appearances on the CBS MarketWatch and First Business networks.

Wade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. The emphasis of his degree program was marketing and political science.
