A restaurant-quality Thanksgiving meal without the restaurant pickup: That's what fresh food and meal delivery service Fresh Midwest is aiming to offer through a partnership with Wildfire, a Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises concept.
Through Nov. 24, Fresh Midwest customers can order any of three Wildfire-prepared heat-and-eat Thanksgiving dinners. Turkey options are available to feed eight or 16 people; a holiday spiral-ham option feeds as many as 12. All options include a variety of sides plus a holiday pie. A la carte sides and desserts also are available. Delivery is available through Nov. 25 throughout the Chicagoland area, and orders can be placed at Fresh Midwest's website or via Apple's App Store or Google Play.
Fresh Midwest, based in Chicago and Kenosha, Wis., launched in March from Peapod and Midwest Foods veterans after Ahold Delhaize USA shut down Peapod's Midwest operations in February.
