As many consumers return to school and offices this fall, food manufacturers have been getting creative in their own kitchens—ready to meet demand for both quick, nutritious and delicious lunches consumed at home or back on the job. From portable charcuterie trays to loaded salad kits to globally inspired wraps, these six new products fit the bill for a tasty midday meal or anytime snack.
Veroni Snack Pairings
Ready for back to school or back to the office, Veroni presents four portable snacking trays, including imported Italian Mild Salami, Provolone and Breadsticks; Imported Salami Calabrese, Provolone and Breadsticks; Imported Italian Salami, Provolone and Dried Cranberries; and Imported Italian Salami, Provolone and Dried Apricots.
Greenhouse-Grown Salad Kits
Revol Greens has launched Greenhouse-Grown Salad Kits in four flavor varieties: Southwest Baja contains a baby green leaf and romaine lettuce blend, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, tri-color tortilla strips, and sweet dried corn with a spicy southwest dressing; Greenhouse Caesar features green leaf, romaine lettuce and arugula, shredded sharp parmesan cheese, and crispy garlic parmesan croutons with a creamy Caesar dressing; Sesame Ginger Fusion offers spring mix and green cabbage, shredded carrots, honey sesame sticks and crunchy sliced almonds with a tangy ginger carrot vinaigrette; and Sweet Poppy Kale Blend combines baby kale and butter lettuce with sliced radicchio, crunchy sliced almonds, and sweet dried cranberries with a creamy lemon poppyseed dressing. The salads have an SRP of $4.99.
Artisan Wraps
Saffron Road has introduced three new flavors to its line of whole ingredient wraps: Bean & Cheese, Samosa with Chickpeas, and Butter Chicken wraps. Saffron Road Bean & Cheese artisan wraps feature 14 grams of plant-based protein and black-eyed beans simmered with tomatoes and Indian spices. In Samosa with Chickpeas, potatoes, chickpeas, and simmered tomatoes provide a vegan twist on traditional Samosas. The brand’s Butter Chicken wrap is made with antibiotic-free white meat chicken and a blend of masala spices. All three wraps have an SRP of $3.29.
Chicken Chili Verde Sausage
Seemore Meats & Veggies, a woman-owned and -led sausage company, has introduced Chicken Chili Verde Sausage. A zesty blend of humanely raised chicken, poblano peppers, spicy green chilis (jalapeno and serrano), fresh cilantro and garlic, the Chicken Chili Verde Sausage retails for $8.99 for a pack of four.
Ultimate Turkey Burgers with Uncured Bacon

Chickpea Tofu
Franklin Farms, a division of Keystone Natural Holdings, has launched a new chickpea-based product line. The expansion of the brand’s plant-based offerings includes Chickpea Tofu and Peppadew Pepper Chickpea Tofu. Both products are plant-based, vegan, non-GMO, cholesterol free, gluten free, kosher and soy free. Franklin Farms Chickpea Tofu is easy to use and requires no draining or pressing, says the company. Both tofu products can be cubed or sliced for use in wraps, salads, soup, tacos and more.
