Black Friday in July? Not quite, but Amazon and Target have announced the latest dates for their respective days-of-deals promotions.

Amazon's next Prime Day event will happen July 12-13; Target's Deal Days will run July 11-13. Amazon Prime members can get select deals early, starting June 21, with discounted pricing on Fire TV smart TVs; Amazon devices such as Ring Alarm security kits and Blink video doorbells; and products available through live shopping events with social-media influencers.

New this year, Amazon is offering Prime Day discounts for Prime members at Amazon Fresh grocery stores: Starting June 29, Prime members can get 20% off what Amazon called "select everyday essentials" at Amazon Fresh stores across the country.

Target, meanwhile, touts that its three days' worth of deals will offer more discounts than ever across all categories, "no membership fee required." Among the deals will be deep price cuts on items from Target's owned brands, such as the flagship Good & Gather food and beverage brand, the retailer said, and select deals are available now for those shopping Target.com or the Target app. Minneapolis-based Target also is offering a $10 Target gift card when customers spend $50 on food and beverages with same-day services.

Target customers additionally will find up to 25% off beauty products and up to 30% off home items. Earlier this month, the company announced plans to right-size its inventory as consumers shift their spending from discretionary categories such as furniture and kitchen appliances to groceries and household essentials amid decades-high inflation.
