Kansas City, Kan.-based Balls Food Stores has made several senior management changes that reflects its commitment to its teammates, customers and communities, the family-owned and operated grocer said.
Scott Bayne, a food industry veteran with more than 44 years of experience, has been promoted to chief operating officer. Bayne has been with Balls Food for eight years and most recently was VP of sales and marketing.
Longtime employee of more than 45 years, Gregg Frost has been promoted to chief teammate officer. In his tenure at Balls Food, Frost has held a number of roles, including VP of human resources and VP of Hen House Markets.
Mike Sullivan, who has been with Balls Food for 31 years, has been named VP of Price Chopper operations, while Bob Pearson, who has been with the company for 29 years, has been named VP of Hen House/Sunfresh/Payless operations.
In addition, Pat Rogers, who has been with Balls for more than 18 years and was previously Hen House Market's delicatessen specialist, is now Balls Food delicatessen director.
Balls Food Stores, which was founded in 1923 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, has 26 supermarkets under the Hen House Market, Price Chopper, Sun Fresh and Payless Discount Foods banners in Kansas City and surrounding markets
