Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is the latest grocer to partner with the ever-growing Instacart as it makes its Fresh Thyme Delivers program available across the Midwest.

Aldi recently expanded its Instacart service to Chicago after a successful pilot program in other metropolitan cities, and retailers such as Albertsons have also come aboard.

Chris Sherrell, president and CEO of Fresh Thyme, says the partnership is part of the company's "commitment to bringing healthy, natural and organic products to all."

The new partnership will allow for delivery of Fresh Thyme's more than 5,000 organic items and 8,000-plus SKUs of vitamin and body care products and many more healthy options.

Instacart's services will also provide delivery of the more than 600 SKUs that Fresh Thyme recently added to its private label assortment, bringing the grand total of available private label items to more than 1,500. The retailer also offers more than 30,000 items for shoppers with food allergies and special diets.

The service allows Fresh Thyme shoppers to order through, or the Instacart smartphone app, and have groceries delivered to their front door at the time they choose—often in as little as one hour.

Of Fresh Thyme’s 70 stores, 55 will provide delivery service in 590 zip codes throughout the Midwest, including: Chicago, Evansville and Bloomington, Ill; Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo, Ohio; Detroit and East Lansing, Mich.; Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind.; Louisville, Ky.; Milwaukee; Minneapolis; and St. Louis.
