H-E-B recently opened the doors of its new 107,000-square-foot El Dorado store, located at 18611 Eastfield Dr. in Webster, Texas. The new location, at I-45 and El Dorado, replaces the former Clear Lake Market H-E-B and offers a nod to neighboring NASA with a metal shingle design that mimics the underside of the space shuttle, the San Antonio-based company said.
At Home With H-E-B
The new store seeks to offer it all—from a dazzling in-store experience to online ordering and curbside pickup to home delivery. Whether shoppers want to eat right away or want a fresh meal that’s ready to cook or heat at home, H-E-B Meal Simple offers the solutions shoppers seek, the company said. Each of its chef-inspired meals are ready to serve in minutes. From grab-and-go salads to casseroles and entrees, H-E-B aims to offer restaurant-quality meals “without the high cost of going out.”
With 26 parking spaces, El Dorado H-E-B’s curbside pickup is one of the largest curbside facilities in the company and is designed to save customers time while offering all the products available in-store, the company said. In addition to a large assortment of Texas-made products, shoppers will also find a fully stocked healthy living department featuring bulk foods, including nuts, grains, dried fruits and snack mixes, as well as vitamins and natural beauty products.
Catch in the Cart
El Dorado customers can catch up on the freshest offerings from the seafood market, which is stocked with an assortment of fish and shellfish from around the world. They can also land a variety of selections from the fresh meat market that features natural, prime and wagyu meat cut in-store by certified meat cutters, as well as 100% pure beef ground in-store daily. The new H-E-B also includes a fresh sushi area complemented by fried rice and noodle bowls, and fresh poke bowls made daily.
A Fresh Take on the Perimeter
A feast of fresh, the El Dorado location features a full-service scratch bakery and tortilleria that offers a wide selection of artisanal breads baked fresh daily, fresh tortillas, desserts, pastries and custom cakes. In produce, shoppers will find fresh squeezed juices and freshly made guacamole. And the cheese department offers more than 300 specialty, local and imported selections along with an assortment of large, entertainment cheese platters and boards.
