Hy-Vee Inc. is launching a new division focused on providing a best-in-class wine, spirits and beer selection in a stand-alone format called Wall to Wall Wine and Spirits.

The stores will begin opening this fall and winter, with the first stores planned for the retailer’s hometown, West Des Moines, Iowa, as well as Papillion, Omaha and Lincoln, Neb. Specific store information and opening dates will be shared at a later date, Hy-Vee said in a release.

“At Hy-Vee, we focus on the evolving lifestyles of our customers,” said Randy Edeker, Hy-Vee’s chairman, CEO and president. “With the creation of our Wall to Wall Wine and Spirits division, we are excited to continue to provide the best wine, beer and spirits selection, as well as a customer experience of the highest caliber.”
