With a mission to support consumers with their healthy New Year’s resolutions, Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage is launching a six-week Keto Reset program, designed to introduce customers to the increasingly popular ketogenic diet and guide them through their nutrition journey.
The program will become available Jan. 18 on Natural Grocers’ second annual Resolution Reset Day, where the retailer offers free nutritional health coaching, cooking demonstrations and discounts on health-related products.
Based on Mark Sisson’s book, “The Keto Reset Diet,” Natural Grocers’ new Keto course includes a series of “how-to” classes for customers who are new to the diet, which is designed to support healthy weight maintenance, metabolism, energy levels, mental clarity and focus.
"Natural Grocers customers are increasingly curious about the benefits of the keto diet, and we believe with the right support and guidance it can have immense benefits to your health," Heather Isely, EVP of Natural Grocers, said in a statement. "Natural Grocers' Nutritional Health Coaches are qualified and equipped with the training and tools necessary to support customers through the six-week Keto Reset program and throughout the entire year."
In addition to providing nutrition education resources, Natural Grocers’ health coaches also offer free nutrition classes, cooking demonstrations and personalized one-on-one coaching sessions. For this year’s Resolution Reset Day, the retailer is offering:
- Keto-friendly Berry Coconut Cream Delight samples available from noon to 2 p.m.
- A 30% discount on “The Keto Reset,” by Mark Sisson.
- Free Natural Grocers reusable shopping bag with a purchase.
- Hot Deals three-day sale from Jan. 17-19.
- And Npower-only offers, including a free Kicao chocolate bar and $5 off purchases of $53 or more on Feb. 2.
"On Resolution Reset Day 2019, Natural Grocers customers are invited to stock up on items needed to reset their resolutions the right way, including 100% organic produce, meat that is humanely raised without antibiotics, hormones or other growth promoters, 100% free-range eggs, pasture-based dairy, the highest-quality dietary supplements and more," added Isely.
