Schnuck also joins the 10-member strategy team that is tasked with charting the grocery chain's future course. He is the first member of his generation in the Schnuck family to do so. Most recently, Schnuck has served as a Schnucks division manager, overseeing 11 Missouri stores. He also previously was the company's VP of brand marketing, helping to lead the launch of Schnucks Rewards, and in 2018, he helped direct the acquisition and integration of 19 St. Louis-area Shop 'n Save stores, according to a Schnucks news release.
In his new role, Schnuck will work to "develop the strategies to deliver on our promise to our customers to 'Provide Best in Fresh Solutions' by offering a relevant assortment of fresh, quality foods while providing easy, affordable, convenient meal solutions," company President and Chief Operating Officer Dave Peacock said in the news release. "Ted’s experience, strategic mindset and leadership capabilities position him to successfully drive our evolution as a leader in fresh foods."
