Southeastern Grocers, parent company of Winn-Dixie, Fresco y Mas and Harveys Supermarket, is hosting a virtual Diverse Supplier Connect event on July 19 to collaborate with underrepresented suppliers for possible products to be included on store shelves.

The company is partnering with ECRM and RangeMe  to source and connect suppliers with SEG's buyers. Registration is open now through May 23.

SEG said participants will have the opportunity to engage with SEG buyers and category managers to share their company background, product information and marketing plans.
This is SEG’s second event reaching out to diverse suppliers and follows the grocer’s most recent March Local Supplier Connect sourcing event, which attracted more than 430 applicants, it said.

“SEG works with more than 270 diverse suppliers, including women, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, LGBTQ+, veteran and disability-owned businesses,” the company said in a statement.

"At Southeastern Grocers, we continue to put people first and position belonging, inclusion and diversity at the heart of every decision," said SEG President and CEO Anthony Hucker in a news release.
