Sprouts Farmers Market has renewed its agreement with KeHe Distributors as its primary distribution partner for natural, organic and fresh products through 2025.

Terms of the new seven-year agreement include shared targets for improving operational efficiencies, lowering food waste and enhancing Sprouts’ customer experience.

In a statement, KeHe President and CEO Brandon Barnholt said the Naperville, Ill.-based distributor is “honored” by the vote of confidence demonstrated by the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Phoenix-based Sprouts, which he commended as “one of the fastest-growing, most forward-thinking and efficient merchants in the country.”

Jim Nielsen, president and CEO of Sprouts Farmers Market, which operates more than 300 stores with plans to penetrate 19 states by the end of 2018, said the KeHe contract renewal “will serve us and our customers well for years to come,” as part of the retailer’s mission “to inspire, educate and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life.”
