Sprouts Farmers Market, which has been picking up its expansion pace, has added two new stores to its grand openings calendar, one in Charlotte, North Carolina and the other in Woodland, California.
The specialty grocer, which made the announcements Friday, said it is looking to hire 105 full- and part-time employees at the Woodland store, slated to open Nov. 17, and 84 workers for the Charlotte market, scheduled to open the same day.
The Woodland Sprouts, located at 1430 E. Main St., is seeking department managers, assistant department managers, clerks, cashiers, courtesy clerks, a backup receiver, an administrative coordinator and a scan coordinator.
The Charlotte store, located in the Steele Creek neighborhood, is looking to fill the same roles. Both stores have planned hiring events next month.
Health-and-wellness focused grocer Sprouts, which opened its 400th store earlier this month, announced upcoming grand openings in Henderson, Nevada, and Visalia, California, last week.
The Phoenix-based food retailer has previously said it is on track to open 30 new stores this year and that it is focused on 10% annual unit growth starting in 2024.
The grocer has previously said it has nearly 100 approved new stores and more than 60 executed leases in its pipeline.
