Foxtrot’s D.C. Debut Delivers

The Chicago-based upscale corner store’s 11th location and first in the nation’s capital brings under-an-hour delivery, local beers and fine wines, chef-prepared meals, curated gifts and more to the Georgetown neighborhood it serves.

A relatively small unit by warehouse-club standards hopes to make a big splash in dense Long Island City, Queens.

A former Bi-Lo in Cayce, S.C., and a Harveys in Tifton, Ga., are the first of as many as 62 new Food Lion stores coming to the Carolinas and Georgia as a result of last year's acquisition.
