Ahold Delhaize’s U.S. services company will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and technology demonstration celebrating the opening of its new technology hub in Quincy, Mass., on June 17.
The facility at 10 Granite St. will house 200 information technology associates, as well as an “innovation lab,” for Retail Business Services, the unit providing technology services for the local store brands of Ahold Delhaize USA. Ahold Delhaize’s Stop & Shop chain also has offices in Quincy.
At the event scheduled for June 17, officials are expected to announce a new partnership with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce to support the organization’s Incubate Quincy 1400 (IQ1400) venture, which aims to make Quincy a destination for tech startups.

At the event, Retail Business Services associates will demo technologies created in the company’s innovation lab that create new in-store experiences for customers and make grocery shopping easier.
Retail Business Services LLC is the services company of Ahold Delhaize USA. It provides services to six East Coast grocery brands, including Food Lion, Giant Food, Giant/Martin's, Hannaford and Stop & Shop, as well as online grocery retailer Peapod.
