Whole Foods' Plant-Based Push in D.C.

Take a peek inside the retailer's new 46,000-square-foot store in Washington, D.C., which features plant-based burgers, a scratch bakery, local offerings and much more.

Whole Foods Market's recently opened Manhattan West store features a convenient ground floor grab-and-go-market, a sparkling seafood department, locally brewed beers and much more.

The locations in Long Island City and Newburgh are expected to open in early 2021, marking the the 220th and 221st stores for the retailer.

The retailer's newest store in West Cary, N.C., set to open July 29, will feature a Live Wait Line Feed camera that allows shoppers to monitor customer turnout online and plan their visit accordingly.

A new store will open next month in Bellevue, Wash., while the Kirkland store will move to a larger location in 2021.

The hard discounter, which recently reached the 2,000-store mark, is also eyeing Louisiana for the first time through newly announced distribution center.

At least five converted Best Market stores will open in the coming weeks, with three more openings set for early next year.

The retailer's newest store in Redding, Calif., features an expansive array of local products from wine to beer to fresh produce and more. 

These new locations offer elevated grocery shopping experiences, from craft beers and local wines to sushi and pizza bars.
