What’s the best part of your job?

I constantly involve my passions for food and design in the work that I do in my career. I love being able to see or taste something in my personal life and automatically think of ways to work that into innovation in my profession in a food-first way.

What inspires your leadership approach?

I have been lucky to have amazing leadership throughout the progression of my career and have learned that in order to inspire others, you must lead by example. By putting 110% into my work, I am setting the bar for my teammates to match, in hopes that we all become driven to make an impact in our industry. Building close relationships with my teammates is essential in my leadership approach because when you have a family of close relationships and driven influencers on one team, you get the best from everyone, every day.

What do you cherish most about being a part of the grocery business?

I am in a business that is aggressive in improving our shopper’s quality of life. I stay energized and driven in my work, knowing that I can directly influence the way my friends and family eat, shop and live.
