What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
For someone who loves food, designing better ways to bring fresh and delicious foods to my guests presents challenges that keep me learning and casting preconceptions aside. It is an ever-changing environment!
What inspires your leadership approach?
Plotting my own unique path to success has taken me from early work with hotel chains to my current leadership in the grocery business. Teaching me that success often embraces the importance of taking the outsider's perspective and treating failure as a teacher.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
The opportunity to be at many people’s tables every day of the week.
Favorite food: Typical Latin American cuisine: anything maize-based, topped with fresh salsas and condiments.
