The 2020 annual meeting of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) will not be held April 25-28 in Scottsdale, Ariz., as originally scheduled, the organization said, citing public health concerns and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
NACDS said members would be refunded for 100% of the money paid to NACDS related to the 2020 Annual Meeting. The organization has established a website for information specific to COVID-19.
The organization said its attention would turn to the 2020 NACDS Total Store Expo, scheduled for Aug. 8-10 in San Diego. Planning is already underway for the return of the NACDS 2021 Annual Meeting, to be held April 24-27, 2021, at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla.
