Remodeled Schnucks Offers Much More Than Groceries

Schnucks’ newly remodeled store in Kirkwood, Mo. is about “fresh choices,” says the company. The 60,000-square-foot store at 10233 Manchester Road features an updated building exterior and a host of new offerings in-store including a food hall and a St. Louis-inspired clothing collection.

In addition to a new produce department, customers can also shop the expanded grab-and-go section, a refreshed liquor and cold beer area, a new natural living section and a self-service nut butter section.

As part of the remodel, Schnucks is also introducing a new food hall concept that features three local restaurants: The Shaved Duck, Seoul Taco and The Greek Kitchen. Each restaurant partner operates a small service counter and shares a common seating area.

In addition to modern fixtures and displays throughout the store, the newly remodeled Schnucks includes an Arch Apparel section outfitted with the clothing retailer’s St. Louis-inspired streetwear.

An expansive seafood and meat department features fresh seafood cooked for a fee, sustainably sourced fish, store-made sausage and certified Angus beef.

“We thank our shoppers for their patience as we worked to bring them an updated store with many new offerings and amenities,” said Store Manager Vicky Reiling in a release. “Now that the remodel is complete, we’re proud to bring the Kirkwood area and our customers a modern store but with the same focus on great customer service.”

To celebrate the completion of the remodel, the store is holding a grand re-opening celebration on Oct. 10.
