Sam’s Club details super-sized growth plans

The Walmart-owned warehouse club unveiled a strategy Thursday to open more than 30 new locations across the U.S. over the next several years, along with many new distribution and fulfillment centers.

The Michigan-based grocery chain, founded by Alpena Oil Company, has been purchased by Blarney Castle Oil Co.

H-E-B also plans to open a 55,000-square-foot e-commerce fulfillment center in the fast-growing city later this year.
