GreenWise Market, a banner owned and operated by Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix, has opened its first store in a multiuse high-rise. On the ground floor of The Main Las Olas building on Southeast Third Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the 27,758-square-foot store is the retailer’s sixth in the state and its eighth overall, with one location each in Georgia and Alabama.
“We took all of the things our customers love about GreenWise Market and put them in a centralized downtown location,” Publix President Kevin Murphy said in a release. “We look forward to sharing our unique atmosphere and products with our customers who live and work in this busy urban neighborhood.”
